The Alabama Criminal Justice Information Center (ACJIC) is located in Montgomery, Alabama.
Our office hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., CST. Our Command Center, which assists Alabama law enforcement agencies, operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For more information on the assistance we may or may not have the authority to provide to citizens, please visit our Citizens page.
It is important to note the Alabama Criminal Justice Information Center cannot provide intervention, assistance, or legal advice to private citizens with pending legal matters, including arrests and/or incarcerations. Concerns regarding arrests/incidents involving law enforcement officers should be directed to the chief executive officer (Sheriff and/or Chief of Police) of the law enforcement agency with jurisdiction over the area where the arrest and/or incident occurred. Concerns regarding incarcerations should be directed to the chief executive officer of the particular correctional facility, or to the Alabama Department of Corrections (www.doc.alabama.gov) if the incarceration involves a prison operated by the State of Alabama.
