The Alabama Criminal Justice Information Center (ACJIC) is a state agency that serves citizens by providing local, state, and federal criminal justice agencies with critical information. ACJIC's information sharing systems are designed to help law enforcement agencies make good decisions which result in the safety and security of the citizens of Alabama.

Headquartered in Montgomery, the agency is governed by a Commission that is responsible for establishing the policies and rules governing the operation of the agency. Daily operations and administration are vested with the ACJIC Director, Maury Mitchell, who works under the supervision of the Commission.
